Church House Westminster
Over the last year this central London venue has seen an increase in the number of high profile fundraising dinners being held at the venue, ranging from Reverse Rett to Helping Rhinos and WellChild.
All of these events vary in their nature but have a fundraising element to the evening. Some examples of the fundraising events Church House has played host to over the last year are Reverse Rett. In 2017 the charity held their annual gala dinner which aims to raise funds through sponsorship, ticket sales and donations combined with an auction and a raffle which take place on the night. Reverse Rett is a UK medical research charity working to speed treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome has already been reversed in the lab and the charity is working to drive these promising lab developments into tangible treatments and a cure for people living with Rett Syndrome.
Helping Rhinos held their evening dinner event to raise money in March 2018. Helping Rhinos is a UK based charitable organisation with a dual focus of “Creating awareness of the issues threatening the global rhino population and raising funds to help protect them for future generations”.
Most recently WellChild held their Awards launch event at Church House. WellChild is a national UK children’s charity making it possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of in a hospital, wherever possible. General Manager at Church House Westminster Robin Parker says, “Being the venue for these high-profile fund-raising events is a huge honour and is something that the team has always enjoyed being involved with. As a venue we have always offered preferential rates to charities and have looked to support their events via press releases and social media.”
